Player licensing and Player Insurance

The Competition License is available for €52 and is a mandatory requirement for anyone participating in all open competitions organized by the Finnish Cricket Association. This license is valid from January 1, 2025, until December 31, 2025, providing players with comprehensive eligibility to compete throughout the year.

In addition to being valid for official competitions, the license also extends to cover participation in the hobby series and FCA-sanctioned competitions.

The Under-18 Competition License is priced at €20 and is specifically designed for players under the age of 18. This license grants eligibility to participate in all competitions organized or sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association, covering the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

In addition to official competitions, this license also allows young players to take part in the hobby series organized by the Finnish Cricket Association.

The Winter Competition License is priced at €11 and is specifically designed for players only participating in cricket competitions during the winter season. This license is valid for all competitions organized or sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association from January 1, 2025 until April 30 2025.

It is an excellent choice for those who participate in cricket activities exclusively during the winter months.

The Winter Competition License is available for a fee of €5. This license is specifically designed for players under 18 years old and is valid from January 1, 2025 until April 30, 2025. Holders of the U18 Winter Competition License are eligible to participate in all competitions organized or sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association during the winter season.

The Women’s Competition License is available for €21 and is required for all female participants in competitions organized or sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association. This license is valid from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, covering participation in women’s competitions as well as all other events sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association for Women during this period.

In addition to its use for player participation in women’s competitions, this license also grants eligibility for non-playing roles in any sanctioned competition. This includes positions such as match officials or team officials, allowing individuals to be involved in the sport in a variety of important support functions.

It is important to note that this license is NOT VALID for participation in open competitions. Players and officials seeking to compete in or participate in open events will need to acquire the appropriate license for those categories.

The U18 Women’s Competition License is available for €10 and is specifically designed for players under 18 years old. This license is valid for all women’s competitions organized by the Finnish Cricket Association and covers participation in any competitions sanctioned by the association from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

In addition to player eligibility, the Women’s Competition License also grants validity for non-playing roles in all sanctioned competitions, including participation as a match official or team official. This provides an opportunity for individuals involved in cricket, even if not directly competing, to contribute to the sport in other capacities throughout the year.

However, it is important to note that this license is NOT VALID for participation in open competitions.

The Hobby Competition License is priced at €5 and is specifically designed for players participating in the hobby series organized by the Finnish Cricket Association. This license is valid from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, covering all competitions within the hobby series as well as any other events sanctioned by the Finnish Cricket Association during this period.

The official license is priced at €6 and is required for non-playing participation in roles such as match official, coach, or team official. This license is valid for the entire year of 2025, from January 1st to December 31st, and covers participation in all competitions organized by the Finnish Cricket Association during this period.
