Successful participants will be offered the chance to join JPP training sessions with a view to creating Finland’s first-ever national junior representative side. The candidates will be able to demonstrate their skills either in the nets or in a match-style scenario. They can also expect to bowl against or face bowling from already established JPP players.
Candidates must:
Experience in playing with protective cricketing equipment and with a hard cricket ball or hard (yellow) indoor cricket ball would be an asset.
Those who show promise but don’t quite fulfill the selection criteria on this occasion are encouraged to continue to develop by receiving regular cricket coaching and to try again in a few months’ time. Trials will be held at regular intervals.
