CF Support with Equipment to Help the Development of Women’s Cricket at Vantaa CC
Cricket Finland (CF) is pleased to announce a dedicated programme supporting the ongoing development of women’s cricket in Finland. This initiative reinforces CF’s nationwide commitment to expanding women’s participation in the sport and ensuring that clubs have the tools and structures needed to provide safe, inclusive, and high‑quality training environments.
As part of this programme, Cricket Finland Development Director Maija Scamans held a productive meeting with Vantaa CC representative Hashan Samarasinghe. The discussion focused on building a sustainable pathway for women and girls at the club, reviewing current needs, and identifying priority equipment to further elevate coaching standards and player development.
Through this collaboration, Cricket Finland has provided essential training equipment and development resources to Vantaa CC. These resources will help enhance skill development, improve accessibility for new players, and support the long‑term growth of the women’s section at the club.
