Cricket Finland has announced a 14-man squad for the upcoming Germany T20I to be played beginning on 11 August 2026. The fixture comes at a crucial time for the Finnish Bears, serving as a key warm-up assignment ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier C, which Finland will host later this month.
Amjad Sher and Bears management have named him captain of the squad, with Nicholas Salonen appointed vice-captain and Aravind Kumar Mohan taking on wicketkeeping duties. The group brings together a strong mix of experienced internationals and rising domestic talent, reflecting the depth Cricket Finland has been building across its development pathways in recent seasons.
The T20I against Germany offers the Bears a valuable opportunity to fine-tune combinations, assess squad depth, and build match sharpness on home soil before the qualifier gets underway. With WCQ2026 bringing several of Europe’s top associate nations to Finland, home conditions and recent match practice are expected to play an important role in the team’s preparations.
