The final league positions are as follows:

SM 50: Helsinki CC are the champions

SM 40: Bengal Tigers are the champions

Bengal Tigers promoted to SM50 for 2009.
Turku CC relegated to SM40 for 2009.

For the promotion/relegation playoff match, FPC defeated Vaasa CC by 9 wickets.
Final scores: Vaasa CC 95 all out, FPC 98 for 1.

DevT20: Phoenix are the new champions after beeting Empire CC in the finals. Phoenix won the match by 61 runs.

Bengal Tigers are first SM 40 League Champions

Bengal Tigers became first SM 40 2008 league champions when Empire CC, who had to beat Vaasa CC in their final match, lost. With this Bengal Tigers have also been promoted to division 1 (SM 50).

Helsinki CC are first SM 50 league Champions

With a fine win over Vantaa CC on 30th August (Saturday), Helsinki CC became the first SM 50 league chmapions. Oba Siddiqui was the hero of the Helsinki CC with his 6 wickets.

Scores: Helsinki CC 163 all out, Vantaa CC 142 all out.
Helsinki CC won by 21 runs.

FPC retain the OpenT20 league title

FPC retained their OpenT20 title after winning their final match against Helsinki CC by one wicket which was played on 27th July at Kaisaniemi.
